| The General Directorate’s Competitive Fund for Technical Cooperation Projects (FonTC) is an initiative under which IICA uses its own resources to finance technical cooperation projects, which can be complemented with funds from other organizations of member countries or international agencies.
In addition to serving as an instrument for promoting innovation, the Fund is intended to provide support for projects that will help solve specific problems in IICA’s member countries, contribute to the attainment of the goals defined in the 2010-2014 MTP, and make agriculture more productive, competitive and sustainable.
