2009 Internship Reports
Esteban Guevara and Tatiana Santander have been involved with Aves & Conservacion-BirdLife in Ecuador since 2000. They were also supported by Environment Canada, Canada's Interagency Wild Bird Influenza Survey and the Ministry of Environment of Ecuador. They were provided training in waterfowl banding which allowed them to gain experience in prairies Saskatchewan and New Brunswick. Miriam V. Martin Manzo works as Research Assistant in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science in Mexico, DF. She participated in collaborative research projects with the University of Guelph, Ontario, with the aim of developing environmentally safe disease control practices for honey bee diseases.
